Refund policy

August Boutique Return Policy

  

Thank you for shopping August Boutique. We are pleased to offer a 14-day exchange policy for all orders purchased on our website and in-store. Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase or the day received, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange.

If you have purchased within 14 days and your item is unused with tags intact, we can offer an exchange or store credit.  Refunds are not inclusive of shipping charges.

To be eligible for an online purchase exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, with all tags and stickers still unused and attached.  Once item is received in the condition it was shipped, the exchanged item will then be sent. 

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We do not accept return on products that are intimate materials, seasonal (holiday themed) items, home goods (pillows, candles),  personal care items (lotions, soaps or make-up) accessories (scarves, socks, hats, jewelry or handbags), children's items or sale items.

To complete your exchange, we require a text receipt and/or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to any manufacturer other than August Boutique. All items purchased through this website must be returned to the website.  Local online purchases may be exchanged in store within the 14 days of purchase.  

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • August Boutique is not responsible for refunding any shipping charges. Return shipping is at the cost of the buyer.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable):

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at shopataugustboutique@gmail.com.

Sale items:

Only regular priced items may be exchanged.  All sale items are final sale, including items that were marked down for a promotion.

Exchanges:

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, please send an email immediately shopatauggustboutique@gmail.com and send your item to:

Shipping:

To return your product, you should mail your product to the above August Boutique address. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, time frames may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
